Casings are a great way to ensure these handspun masterpieces remain securely fixed to your walls. Simply sew a heavy cotton casing across the top edge of your carpet (try to catch at least two warp threads in each stitch for the best support) and insert a metal pole through it. By ensuring this pole is slightly shorter than the width of your carpet and mounting it on hooks hidden behind the rug, you can create a striking focal point.
